At the moment a place of absolute calm.

Great food, friendly service. Simply great and informal

Returned there with a group, everyone was happy with the food / cake / rice pudding. Despite Corona, a decent menu and always worth a trip just because of the service!

Three visits, three times "hits": inviting terrace with a few beach chairs, nice and brisk service - especially at peak times and under the restrictions of the "corona protection conditions", extensive menu. The "little things" we ordered (cake, rice pudding, etc.) were fresh and tasty. Only the coffee could do with a makeover in terms of taste.

Ostfriesentorte was good also the Sandorn cake. The cup of East Frisian tea only came with plastic coffee cream. There is still room for improvement. No telecom and O2 network in the inn. No wifi.

Very nice service, hardly any waiting time. Great taste. Always my pleasure.

It is a good stage destination, but also very well attended and therefore loud and restless. Definitely the right thing with children, but too lively for us

Nice cafe restaurant in the middle of the island of Borkum. Top starting point after partial bike tours or as a destination for an extended walk. Possible bus trip to Borkum center. Large outdoor area with plenty of seating. Inside too. Nice service and good food and drinks. Highly recommended!

We had made a short stop during a rain shower, unfortunately we were not offered anything other than a drink. Although large umbrellas kept the rain out, there was no service outside. After just under an hour, we lost our appetite

Nice atmosphere and delicious cake, it was a huge piece, had to share it with the sparrows 😉 ... Inside is a nice ambience, originally designed. I liked it on my bike tour !! 🙂👍

Great! Any time. The service was very friendly and quick, a great menu with a good price / performance ratio. We stumbled upon this eatery by chance while on a bike tour and will definitely be back! :-)

Great restaurant. Have a very tasty lunch and delicious cake with coffee. The prices are great for a vacation island. We can only recommend it.

Nice location with plenty of space for space between the tables. I didn't really like my baked potato with quark at lunchtime ... had the impression that it was left over from the previous day and was briefly heated. Quark was good. Side salad with dressing ok. The disinfectant dispenser (Corona time) at the entrance was replaced by a replacement bottle only after 30 minutes, even after repeated references to its emptiness (umpteen guests pressed unsuccessfully) ..... :-( only after 30 minutes. That should have been faster ...

Every time we are on Borkum, we go to the Cafe Restaurant Ostland a few times! The food is very good! Customer requests (raw salad and french fries without salt) are catered for! The staff is is always very friendly! You can sit outside there beautifully! We will definitely visit Cafe Ostland again! The next vacation on Borkum is sure to come! We are looking forward to it.

An excursion restaurant. Prices are ok. Quality and taste also fit! Even though it was very busy, the food and drinks came quickly. We will be back definitely

Was better before ... It's not so cozy inside, the tables are too small and not set (no tablecloth or decoration). The food was unfortunately mixed and not worth the high price. In addition, you couldn't pay by card, which is not the fault of the waitress, but you should put cash in your pocket first! We are very disappointed because we made the long way to Café Ostland and it is no longer the same as it used to be.

Wasn't there for the first time. It is one of the most beautiful places and one of the best eateries on the island. The food is delicious, the staff is super nice and attentive and the prices are ok too. Should I visit the island again, I would definitely go to Cafe Ostland.

Very nice place with good food. Quick service despite that it was packed to the brim with guests. The potato with cream and salmon is a full meal, excellent lunch after a long walk. Very "gezellig", or better "gemütlich", place

Lamb fillet Deichgraf and 2 pieces Schnitzel (Balkan style) very delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately no lunch. So only big portions. From 13 € upwards.
